History and Facts

Location and Transportation

  • NTU’s location in central Taipei makes it a convenient and fun place to study.
  • Easily accessible by public transport, NTU’s main location is a large garden-campus in the centre of Taipei, within walking distance of two metro stations and well linked to the rest of Taiwan by modern, affordable rail transport.

 

Student Facilities and Highlights

  • The NTU Library is the largest library collection in Taiwan. It includes four million volumes, 26,000 periodicals, more than 100 foreign newspapers, more than 30,000 electronic journals, and a 50,000-strong collection of rare and ancient books.
  • NTU regularly organises special computer courses for the students.
  • Student activities flourish as an integral part of NTU’s liberal and pluralistic environment.There are approximately 400 clubs and societies at NTU.NTU is noted for its tradition of intellectual freedom and academic excellence.
