The AIIMS has announced the dates for the AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) MBBS 2016 exam. The exam, as per the notification released by the board, will be conducted on May 29 for MBBS 2016 admissions. The AIIMS exam will be an online exam. The registrations for the exam will commence in the last week of January. Moreover, 672 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS like institutions are on offer. The AIIMS Results will be announced on June 14, 2016. Exam PatternThe entrance test will be an online exam. The exam will consist of 200 multiple choice and reason-assertion based questions. Individually, each section – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology – will consist of 60 questions. Besides, 20 questions from General Knowledge will also be included in the exam. A candidate will be awarded one mark for every correct answer and 1/3 (one third) mark will be deducted for every wrong or incomplete response. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and 30 minutes and will be conducted in morning and forenoon sessions. Interested candidates can register online for the exam.
Those candidates who have passed the Class 12/HSC or equivalent exam in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with 60 per cent marks are eligible for the medical entrance test. Additionally, the candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.
