CBSE sends notice to DPS schools in Delhi, asks reason why affiliation should not be revoked

In an awakening move today, the CBSE has issued show cause notices to around 20 schools in the capital city of Delhi and Haryana. This action taken by the CBSE shall help to instill faith in the education system. The notice demands the school to provide a valid reason for keeping their licenses non-cancelled. The schools that attracted the brunt had been found violating certain norms set by the CBSE. The list includes reputed names such as DPS Mathura road and DPS Rk Puram, which are the oldest and the most reputed campuses of DPS. According to reports, DPS Rk Puram has been given a time period of 7 days and DPS Mathura road a time of 15 days to explain the reasons for violation of the CBSE norms.
