The Jawaharlal Nehru University, established in 1969, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for its PhD programme. The university, known as one of the prestigious universities in India, is offering admission in School of Computer and Systems Sciences. The course will include subjects like Cloud Computing, Computer Network, Computer Vision, Data Mining, Data Warehouse, Databases, Embedded Systems, Image Processing, Machine Learning, MEMS, Network Security, Parallel and Distributed Systems, Pattern Recognition, Programming Languages, Software Engineering, VLSI, Web Mining, and Wireless Network. Interested and eligible candidates can log on to the official website to apply for the programme. The last date to apply for the programme is December 2, 2015.
To be eligible for the programme, the candidates should have attained a Master of Technology (M.Tech)/Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) or Master of Engineering (M.E) from a recognised university. In addition to this, candidates will also have to present their recent scores obtained in the GATE/NET exam. Further, the admissions of the candidates will be based on their performance in the written test and personal interview.
The application process will end on December 2 at 5PM. The short-listed candidates will be announced on December 4, 2015. The written test and interview will be conducted on December 17 and 18, and the result will be declared on December 23.
