The scholarship is divided into three individual grants:

  • A sum of Rs 2 Lakh to provide financial assistance for higher education: applicable only for girls.
  • A sum of Rs 2 Lakh to fund the higher education abroad
  • A grant of Rs 1 Lakh to fund the higher education of either a boy or a girl within India.
  • An applicant has to register first on the online portal of GLOBAL EDUCATES and then fill in the SCHOLARSHIP FORM
  • An applicant must be an Indian national and above the age of 18 while applying
  • Only applicants who are appearing or have appeared for 10+2 examinations will be eligible for the scholarship.
  • An applicant must obtain a minimum of 45% marks in his or her 10+2 examinations.
  • The scholarship will be given after assessing the performance in an online aptitude assessment, conducted for the students whose applications have been successfully accepted by GLOBAL EDUCATES.
  • An applicant should not have a gap between class 11 and class 12.
  • An applicant must write a Statement of Purpose (or Personal Statement) that should include (but not limited to) the applicant’s background, interests, motivation to study the particular course, reasons to study at his or her preferred university, and reasons why they deserve the scholarship.

Ultimately, the final decision to award the scholarship rests solely with Global Educates. Although every effort will be made to ensure a fair selection, Global Educates will not entertain any appeals regarding this and does not guarantee a scholarship to every applicant.
