Founded by the Archbishop Attipetty Foundation Trust, the Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School is affiliated to CBSE. The school began in 1991 with only 277 students but today boasts of more than 2500 students.
AIM OF THE SCHOOL
The curriculum of the school is based on the guidelines given by the CBSE, where the syllabus is divided into two terms: one implemented from April to September and the other from October to March. This decreases the pressure on the students and motivates them to improve their skills. The school considers a right blend of practical and theoretical teaching a must for understanding the concepts. The school also offers scholarships to deserving students from weaker sections of the society. Performance in sports and other co-curricular activities are also assessed in the final assessment.
At the very outset let me wish each and every one of you a gratifying and fruitful session. Let us thank and praise the Almighty for the wonders He has wrought for us at this Institution and more especially for each and every one of us personally. The last session brought with it a mixed share of achievements and accolades couples with disappointments and trials. Let us, however, firmly believe that each and every event is a learning experience in our lives and that God Himself is the very best Teacher. The important thing is that we do not rest on our laurels and that we move ahead with renewed determination from the pitfalls we might have experienced.
This academic session we have adopted the theme ATTITUDE DETERMINES ALTITUDE. Let us have a clear idea about the altitudes we would attempt to reach. If our Attitude is positive, then we can reach to any altitude we set as a target for ourselves; these targets can be for physical and intellectual achievement. But, Altitudes need not be merely external; they can be the depth and dimensions of our own inner being and how we determine to strengthen our own morality and spirituality. Nothing is impossible! The lives of so many great leaders and even ordinary people like ourselves, have been testimony to this fact.
Let us strive to build proper attitudes in ourselves so that we may reach to altitudes that would not only make us proud of ourselves but would also make others proud of us! Let us be true to the expectations that parents, teachers and society around us have for us. When we give Joy to others, that joy would return to us with manifold blessings!
Wishing each and every student and member of the staff all the very best!
